A private house of 4 storeys with a basement, the Barker Residence, designed by Gary Ong, stands out with its contemporary and refreshing aesthetic. Spanning a total area of 2600 sqft, this residential house was created for a couple and their son, who desired a bright and modern home.

The basement of the Barker Residence serves as the private car park and acts as the "common" entrance for the family. To create a welcoming atmosphere, the designer chose a book-match marble effect laminate with medieval charm as the wall cladding, effectively concealing the household shelter and bathroom. This design choice adds a touch of elegance and warmth to the space.

In the living hall, light color palettes were carefully selected to enhance the bright and refreshing ambiance of the house. To add a bold statement, a grey velvet paint effect was applied to showcase the client's collection of paintings. This unique feature adds depth and character to the living space, creating a visually stunning focal point.
